The beautiful neighborhood of Wilhaggin in Arden-Arcade sits alongside the scenic American River, with Fair Oaks Blvd. to its north. Most of its original homes were built by Streng Bros. Homes from 1968 to 1972, on approximately 40 acres of the old Haggin land grant. The grant was acquired during the mid-1800s by James Ben Ali Haggin, an attorney and rancher, and was later subdivided by a firm called Williams and Williams – and this was how the neighborhood came to be known as “Wilhaggin.”

Today, Wilhaggin is one of Sacramento’s most desirable neighborhoods, with a scenic landscap, convenient location, and plenty of beautiful, well-built homes.
